This is an interpretation of Tibetan Zodiac from the medical diagram “Bloodletting Chart.” At the center of the drawing are the nine sme ba (nine numbers symbolizing the interrelation of energies, elements, and the human body with the cosmos). Surrounding them are the Chinese pa-kua (eight trigrams, which represent fundamental natural phenomena and cosmic forces), encircled by the twelve animals of the months and years. Below are depicted the symbols of the seven days of the week.
